I took this course since I am taking a music production 101 course. I was intimidated by musical synthesis at first. However, Marc's discussions of synthesizer intricacies is deep, well-researched and delivered with passion. (It's eons better than toughing it out with the manual!) Moreover, the course is not just a quick description of features and moving on, but rather many demonstrations of how the Nord's many features work and sound. Musical synthesis involves more than selecting cool sounds. It requires an understanding about the physics of sound, their creation and the technique of modifying them to suit your personal tastes.
